the Cake International Academy Spring Escape: an immersive cake art retreat and weekend of
professional cake decorating workshops in the luxurious setting of Woodland Grange, Warwickshire.
Cheek-to-cheek – A Collaboration
A structure based workshop collaboration, the very first of its kind, each student will work with Carla Puig and Emma Jayne.
Carla Puig’s workshop will create a cute child. With Emma Jayne, students will sculpt an animal and the collaborative finished piece will be a child (Carla Puig) hugging ‘cheek to cheek’ with a dog’s face (Emma Jayne).

Emma Jayne
Coming from a background in fine art, Emma is famous for her amazing work and outstanding life-size showpieces. She has won an incredible array of awards, including the 2017 Cake Artist of the Year award from Cake Masters Magazine.
Carla Puig
Carla Puig is a CI International Best in Show winner from 2016 and travels the world teaching her breath-taking art. Carla’s exquisite sculpting style has also been featured in numerous magazines and social media platforms.

The Cake International Academy workshop includes all materials and equipment required to complete the final piece

Accommodation, food and drink are as detailed in the package – you are liable for any additional items (including food & drink) and this will need to be settled with Woodland Grange before check out.

Students will be able to take their pieces (not the equipment) home.

The student is responsible for their own travel costs to and from Woodland Grange.

Due to demand for places, full payment is required upon booking.

Students must be 18+ and are responsible for themselves and their actions whilst participating – any disruptive behaviour could result in student being asked to leave the course (in this event the student would not receive any refund).

Should the event need to be postponed due to restrictions or on Government advice, you will automatically be transferred to the new dates with the option to receive a voucher should you be unable to make it. You are advised to take out insurance as Cake International cannot be held responsible for any other expenses including travel costs.
