A Taste of Sugar workshops are specially designed to help sugarcrafting newcomers and juniors learn cake crafting techniques and enjoy a unique hands-on experience.

Beautiful Buttercream Flowers for Beginners

Learn to create the buttercream flowers on a board (please note: you will not take the buttercream flowers away with you).

Meet Bella, also known as The Sugarcraft Contessa, self-taught cake artist & sugarcraft teacher who is passionate to show that absolutely anyone can enjoy making beautiful buttercream flowers. 

Join Bella & the team in the Taste of Sugar area and try your hand at making your own beautiful buttercream flowers.

Bella’s love for buttercream floristry started with an online rose tutorial and has led to a whole new life, business and even her own product range, including the ‘Beautiful Buttercream Bouquets’ complete piping sets. She hosts vintage themed parties & classes in Hampshire & around the country ‘teaching busy people to make beautiful cakes’.

 

Christmas Cookies with the British Sugarcraft Guild

Runs daily – no booking required. 

Inclusive and achievable.  Those new to the craft will not feel overwhelmed by the techniques and anyone should feel confident to have-a-go at home. Participants will learn a number of simple techniques, including texturing, showing the versatility of Renshaw paste. Want more practice?  why not buy a multi-pack of Renshaw paste and have another go at home!

This is a learning experience with a tutor. Your work speed and abilities will contribute to the finished product. 

Mini-workshops include all materials and equipment required.
Students may be able to take home their piece (not the equipment).
If you have any concerns regarding ingredients used please ask. 
Students are responsible for themselves and their actions whilst participating. 
 16 years and under must not be left unaccompanied whilst participating in the workshops.
